Privacy

sevenhoursback.com gives residential cleaning businesses a quote link and a workspace for the requests it collects. There are two kinds of people in the product, and they are treated differently.

Businesses that use the product

If you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with and a one-way hash of your password, never the password itself. If you sign in with Google we store the Google account identifier instead of a password. You may also add a phone number and address to the account. If you add a second address for request alerts, such as a shared office inbox, nothing is sent to it until someone with access to that inbox confirms it from a link we email there; after that it receives the same alerts, and you can remove it at any time.

For each business you create we store its name, its public link, its logo if you upload one, its colours, its service area, its public phone number, the pricing you enter, and the plan or trial state of that business. If you subscribe, we store a Whop customer identifier and subscription identifier, and the status and renewal date Whop reports. We never receive or store card numbers; card details are entered on Whop’s own page.

Customers who request a quote

When someone fills in a quote page, the answers and the details they type are sent to the cleaning business that owns that link. A request can include a name, email address, phone number, service address or ZIP code, how they prefer to be contacted, preferred days or timing, any note they write, and the answers used to calculate the estimate. The estimate and the pricing that produced it are stored alongside, so the business can show the same number later.

The cleaning business decides what to do with that request. It is not a booking. Unless the business has turned it off, the customer is emailed a copy of their own request and estimate, sent in the business’s name, and a reply to it goes to the business. Each address receives at most three copies an hour, so the form cannot be used to flood someone else’s inbox; the counter for that holds a one-way hash of the address, not the address, and is deleted within a day of falling out of use. Apart from that copy, sevenhoursback.com does not contact customers on the business’s behalf. If a request is not for a business’s service area, the customer may instead ask to be told when the area is served; that leaves a ZIP code and email address with the business.

What we do not collect

There are no advertising or analytics trackers in the product, no third-party tracking cookies, no session recording, and no selling or renting of personal information. The product means this app, including every business’s quote page. Our marketing site, sevenhoursback.com, is separate: it uses Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use that page, described below. We do not store the IP address of anyone who visits a quote page. To start a phone field on the right country code, the page uses the country your connection comes from, as our hosting network reports it; that country is not stored either. Requests are rate limited using a one-way hash of the address combined with a server-side secret; only that hash is stored, and the rate-limit counter that holds it is deleted within a day of falling out of use.

Cookies and local storage

Signed-in browsers get one session cookie so the account stays signed in. Staff who sign in to the internal console get a separate session cookie under its own name. Neither is used for advertising. If you arrive from a campaign link or another website, a first-party cookie remembers the campaign label or that site’s name for up to 30 days, so that if you sign up we know which channel brought you; it holds no identifier and nothing about you, and is saved on the account only if you create one. Another cookie holds your browser’s time zone, such as America/Chicago, so that dates show on your own day rather than the server’s; it holds nothing else. A theme preference is kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us.

Who else sees data

We use a small number of service providers to run the product, and each sees only what its job requires:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate abuse of the service.

How long it is kept

Requests stay with the business that received them until the business deletes them or deletes its account. Deleting a request removes it from the workspace. Deleting an account removes the account and the businesses on it, along with their requests, after any active subscription has been settled and cancelled; a deletion that cannot finish says so and can be resumed from the account screen. Staff who operate the product can see account and business records to provide support, and every such change is recorded in an internal audit log. Billing records held by Whop are kept under its own retention rules and tax law.

Your choices

Business owners can see and correct their account and business details, export their requests, and delete either individual requests or the whole account from the workspace. While you set up a business we may send a few tips by email, such as a reminder to share your quote link. Each one has a link to stop them, which does not affect request alerts or account and billing email. People who submitted a request should contact the cleaning business they sent it to, because that business holds the request; if you cannot reach them, write to support@sevenhoursback.com and we will pass the request on or remove it where we can.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Data belonging to one business is not served to another through the product’s own interfaces. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us at support@sevenhoursback.com if you think something has gone wrong, rather than posting details publicly.

Children

The product is for businesses. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Changes and contact

If this notice changes in a way that affects what is collected or who receives it, the new version is published here with a new effective date and, where the change is significant, businesses are told by email. Shardul Dan, trading as Seven Hours Back is responsible for the product. Questions and requests go to support@sevenhoursback.com.
